It is with great sadness, regret and frustration that we announce the cancelling of the 8th annual Benefit for the Basin. For 7 years prior we have worked alongside the greatest community, with the greatest of sponsors for the best participants and spectators we could ask for.

The board and our supporters spent a lot of time weighing the risk verses reward for the 8th annual event in 2020. Attempting to stand-up against Covid-19 was not something we could gamble with. I continue to express that Benefit for the Basin and the monies raised from this non-profit are the communities and we are just stewards of these funds. We do not take it lightly and felt this wasn’t a gamble we were willing to take. Our Partner’s will be credited the value of their sponsorship in 2020 towards our 2021 event with their Website and Social Media presence to stay throughout both years.

We were so proud to be ahead of the curve this year with selling raffle tickets for the 1982 Chevrolet Corvette, 2019 Kubota RTV Sidekick 850 and our 26′ tandem Axle Car Trailer in March. We will make every effort to contact the purchasers of those tickets so far and give them choices of a full refund, donation towards our Mission or entry into the 2021 raffle.

We are blessed with the relationships we’ve gained that will last a lifetime and look forward to working with and rubbing shoulders once again in 2021.

Thank you,
Joe Reister/Board President

On September 20-21 we held our annual dinner and charity auction at the Klamath County Fairgrounds. Fun was had by all, and included such festivities as: the kid’s corner featuring games and activities, drag racing, the ever-popular “smash car,” boutique shopping, raffles and door prizes, and so much

This years big winners were:

Winner of the 1968 Pontiac Firebird - Bryan & Joey Sundet
Winner of the 2019 18' Car Trailer - Courtney Shaw
